Less Taxes=Population Growth

Our local Paper, The Sun News had a wonderful article in this morning which talked about Population Growth in our area.  To Read the article, go here: sunnews

 

 

 

In The article it states that here in Horry & Brunswick Counties, are among the top 100 fastest growing populations in the country.  A few things that have helped contribute to that.  They are listed below:

           Golf

Myrtle Beach

 

 

 

 

 

  Beach 

          And Lower Taxes

UPDATE:  I just read a wonderful article on Diane's website that states that South Carolina is #1 For lowest Taxes in the country!  Go Check out the article!

I know some parts of the US have extremely high taxes.  A lot of the clients I work with from the northeast can't believe how low their taxes are here in comparison to homes in the north.  For example, a home assesed at 300,000, the taxes would be around 1,200 if you are an in-state owner and use as your primary residence.  What would it be in your area?
