Press #1 for Customer Support, #2 for Billing, #3 Directions~ My Dislike for Automated Systems & How I plan to never use again!

Get HumanThe past few days I have been experiencing some serious issues with my Blackberry Curve.  As many of you know, I am a real estate agent in Myrtle Beach, SC.  As a real estate agent, not having your cell phone work is bad.  I use my Blackberry phone daily as my main tool of communication for real estate business.  So, with that being said, I contacted customer support for my cell carrier on numerous occassions trying to solve the problem.  Everytime you call customer support though, you have to go through what seemed like 15 automated system prompts to get to someone live on the phone. 

After about my fourth time calling in, I had enough of pressing buttons on my phone.  Then I remembered a wonderful website to help me get around the automated systems.  It is called Gethuman.  This is a great database of numbers for just about any major company that you may ever need to contact.  The list  of numbers is either numbers that take you directly to a live person, or it has the quick prompts listed to get one on the phone quickly. 

For me, I plan on keeping this website very handy for future references!  One thing for sure, I am not a big fan of automated systems and do not wish to waste any more time on the phone speaking to a computer or mashing digits on my phone.  Luckily, I was finally able to fix all my issues with my phone!

I HATE LENGTHY AUTOMATED PHONE SYSTEMS!  Enough said.  How are you?

ohhhhh thats one of my biggest pet peeve!  Cell phone and internet servers........its exactly the same thing.........five buttons and sets of messages before I even get to the category that might have the option I want!  Then you still hold, and they often are still able to accidentally disconnect - probably when its time for them to go for coffee!~ I'm checkingout your link gift!

Thanks Jeremy, I had this at one time and forgot about it. Now I downloaded and saved it on my computer, I am going to email to my clients as one way to stay in touch and give helpful advice not real estate related.

No way!  I am definiely checking out the website.  I despise automated systems.  By the time I ge through to a REAL person I am so frustrated that either I forget why I called or I take it out on them.

This is one of my pet peeves as well. Most of the time I hit the 0 and it takes me to someone live.

I saw your title and thought I would be all smart and give you that website but of course you already know it!  I have used it before and it does work, my only complaint is they do not have the answer to every automated system I need to call!  But Gethuman has been very helpful.

Good to "See" you again Jer - Cool website. I've found myself chatting with customer service online - it is almost always faster. Having your phone dead is like taking your signs off lawns huh? Great to hear its working.
