Wild Wing Cafe in North Myrtle Beach, SC at Barefoot Landing

Myrtle Beach is known as a place filled with many restaurants to choose from for dining any night of the week. However, if it is a Tuesday night in which we are planning to go out, we know immediately we are going to visit Wild Wing Cafe at Barefoot Landing in North Myrtle Beach. The reason we love going to Wild Wing Cafe on Tuesday evenings is that every Tuesday, they have Two Fer Tuesday wings or half price.

Once arriving, I dropped my wife off at the door with the baby and headed on my journey to find a parking space. Because of the rainy weather, everyone was out shopping, dining and enjoying Barefoot Landing. I finally found a space, parked and began my walk to the restaurant. I was taking my time because it was just after 7PM and I figured the restaurant would be packed and expected a wait of 30 minutes to an hour. But, to my surprise, my phone rang. My wife called to inform me she had got us a booth and was ordering our drinks awhile.

Our meal began with an order of Big Fat Fries. Quite the tasty appetizer. It was a mound of of fresh cut potato wedges smothered in cheese which arrived at our table in less than 5 minutes.

After devouring the fries, our wings then arrived. I had the Honey Mustard Wings & Ranchilada Wings pictured above. The picture below is of my wife’s wings, The Boss & The Slayer.

What made our evening out so wonderful was the exceptional service we experienced. The servers were always on top of things. Our glasses never were more than 1/3 empty. When we needed something it was delivered quickly and with a smile. Even bussing our table as we finished was done quickly. It was great to see the teamwork taking place. Servers who were not our own would come and fill our glasses and take the dishes if they saw a need.

Price was another great part of our meal. For the both of us with appetizer the total cost was $25.00 including tip. Not bad for two meals, an appetizer and great leftovers for the next day.

Since my degree is in Restaurant/Hotel Management, I am extremely critical on restaurants when I go out to eat. I find myself constantly critiquing restaurants by habit. Wild Wing Cafe quickly became one of our absolute favorite places to go for wings in Myrtle Beach & North Myrtle Beach.

Fiesta del Burro Loco- Mexican Restaurant in Myrtle Beach, SC

Recently we visited Fiesta del Burro Loco a Mexican restaurant that has a party like atmosphere with festive decorations that includes giant sombreros, piñatas, and bright colorful paintings. It is located off of Bypass 17 in Myrtle Beach, just south of Broadway at the Beach.

As we began our dining experience, we were greeted with fresh salsa & chips as well as two pleasant servers to handle our group. Their menu includes several wonderful Mexican dishes. Most of the group ordered salads, but I had one of the best Steak Quesadillas I have had in a long time. It was filled with mounds of delicious fresh cooked steak & cheese. The quesadilla was served with a side of sour cream and other toppings.

One of the best parts of Burro Loco are their generous portions. Almost everyone in our group was needing take-out bags because they could not finish their meal. For those who are looking for good deals, there is a special lunch menu available from 11-3 Monday through Friday.

The restaurant opens daily at 11:00 AM and closes at 10:00 PM seven days a week.

Things To Do In Myrtle Beach- Eat At Hard Rock Cafe

Dining out is one of the most common things to do in Myrtle Beach. Sometimes though when you are heading out to a Myrtle Beach restaurant, you simply want to feel like a rock star. The best place to do this type of thing in Myrtle Beach has to be at Hard Rock Cafe.

Hard Rock Cafe’s pyramid structure is a definite landmark here in Myrtle Beach. Inside you can enjoy classic american food like hamburgers, grilled chicken & more.

While you can enjoy some tasty food, you also can experience the rockstar lifestyle by taking a look at some of the various memorabilia that decorates the inside.

Things To Do In Myrtle Beach- Miyabi Japanese Steakhouse

A favorite things to do in Myrtle Beach is to eat at one of my favorite places, Miyabi Japanese Steakhouse. They have nice large Hibachi Tables where friends sit around their own personal Hibachi Grill and enjoy an entertaining dinner cooked by their own personal Chef. Each table will fit eight adults comfortably.

You will be mesmorized by all types of cooking tricks from flaming onions to erupting volcanoes of Soy Sauce Lava. Watch as they make shrimp fly and toss them into your mouth. I once thought about trying some of their knife tricks at home, but upon more thought, I decided it would be safer to leave those tricks to the professionals.

One of the best parts of Miyabi is that they have early bird specials where prices are reduced $5-$10 on the specials. Early Bird Specials usually run Monday through Thursday from 4-6PM.

My personal favorite is the steak, shrimp, & chicken special. This meal starts with a salad, bowl of soup, shrimp appetizer, and freshly sauteed onions & zucchini. After the preliminary appetizers you are then served an enormous mound of rice and your meats. One thing for sure is to come hungry and be ready for a to-go box.

Rioz Brazilian Steakhouse in Myrtle Beach, SC

Anyone who knows me well is aware of the fact that I can be a rather picky eater. I am not a fan of salads, and not the craziest about certain vegetables. On the other hand, I am a huge fan of steak, chicken, pork, and just about any other meat out there.

I think that is one of the reasons I love Rioz Brazilian Steakhouse in Myrtle Beach, SC. I have eaten there on several occasions and absolutely love it! My wife and I decided to visit Rioz yesterday for lunch and take advantage of their winter special. During the months of January & February, they are offering half price on their feast on Sundays.

When I say feast, I am by no means exagerrating. For those who have never been to a Brazilian steakhouse before, let me explain how the meal is served. You start out by enjoying the very extravagant hot/cold salad bar that features everything from fresh sushi, shrimp cocktail, & fresh mozzarella to Black Beans & Rice.

Once you finish with the salad bar you then let your Gauchos know you are ready for the main course by flipping over your card to show you are now ready for the meats to start coming. Also, you are served at this time fresh mashed potatoes, cheese bread, fried bananas, and polenta. Gauchos will then stop by your tables offering you fresh hot cuts of all types of meats that they carry on long spears. They have everything from filet mignon to Parmesan encrusted pork and more. You can see the full list of the 17 different types of meats available here. The meats will keep coming until you say stop.

While there are many delicious desserts available including my favorite creme brule, we so full yesterday, that we just finished with a nice piece of fresh toasted pineapple. The meal for two of us was just under $40.00. I believe it was an exceptional value. The service was phenomenal as well. The General Manager who was extremely busy yesterday even found time to stop by our table, ask how everything was and even took time to comment about how cute our daughter is. I guess that explains why there was a 2 hour wait yesterday for Sunday Lunch! However, if you ask either myself or my wife, the wait was well worth it.
