There are sometimes in life that you have had a hectic day, you are exhausted and the cure is some good Chinese takeout. Just like with anything, some places are better than others. My real estate office is located in Myrtle Beach off of 48th Avenue North & Grissom Parkway.
Whenever I am in the mood for Chinese, I love to go over the waterway and grab some Sweet & Sour Beef at Dragon Pan. I am not sure what they do differently here, but their food just tastes fresher and better than any other Chinese takeout in Carolina Forest.
Their lunch specials which run 11-3:30 seven days a week are also phenomenal deals. They have an extensive lunch menu with over 30 items all for under $6. Normally I can order food and it is ready for pick-up within 15 minutes. However if I am rushing to an appointment in Carolina Forest or Conway, I can enjoy my lunch there in their dining room.
The kids love getting any of the Lo Mein noodles and can devour almost an entire adult serving. One nice thing I found is that if you are not in the mood for rice, you can always exchange it for noodles as a side for a small up charge like I did with my order in the photo to the right.
Dragon Pan is open daily. Their hours are Mon-Thur 11AM-10PM. Fri-Sat 11AM-10:30PM Sun 12-10PM. You can view their menu here and if you want to order takeout, you can call them at 843-903-3688. Their address is 201 Fresh Dr. Suite B Myrtle Beach, SC 29579. Go check them out & enjoy some of the best Chinese food in Carolina Forest.
While Myrtle Beach is known for it’s numerous amounts of restaurants across the Grand Strand, sometimes when there are so many options it is difficult to know which places are the best for getting a good bite to eat. This becomes even more difficult you get into more specific nationalities of foods.
While we love the truly authentic food at Blue Elephant, we really don’t care for the long drive during busy seasonal months, it taking the full evening to eat, or having to carry cash to pay for the evening. Remember, my wife and I have 3 kids under 10, so date nights to us are very precious time. If we want to accomplish anything other than eating, we can’t pick going here.
Spring time is upon us here in Myrtle Beach! Warmer temperatures, longer days with sunlight and everything is starting to bloom. While this is one of my favorite times of the year, it is also one of my most disliked. As everything begins blooming, the level of pollen goes up exponentially.
